HARFA: SCREENSHOTS AND TUTORIALS: RGB SCALE

Separations
  • RGB Colour Model
  • The RGB colour model is based on 3D colour space where we can specify the amount of red (R) colour as the x axis, the amount of green (G) colour as the y axis, and the amount of blue as the z axis. This gives us a three-dimensional space, wherein each possible colour has its unique position. We can also imagine the RGB colour space as a unit cube with black (K), white (W), red (R), green (G), blue (B), cyan (C), magenta (M) and yellow (Y) vertexes. This colour model uses almost all of the electronic display devices. A complementary CMY colour space can be derived by subtraction of the basic components from the white colour. The CMY model is depicted in the figure bellow.
